The goal of Sue's Wildlife Carvings is to provide the public with high quality art depicting life-like three dimentional images of birds.

Sue Kraft was born and raised in Indiana.  She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Biology in 1971.  She was always interested in nature and had a tremendous love for the out of doors.  It was this interest in Biology and nature that finally led her to her current art work.  Sue's Wildlife Carvings began in January 1996.  With each passing year the quality of the artwork completed has improved tremendously.  The biggest reason for this improvement is that Sue continues to learn from the masters.  She has taken lessons from many of the best bird carvers in the world including Larry Barth, Bob Guge, Floyd Scholtz, William McDonald, Chris White and her current mentor Keith Mueller.  Sue travels to Killingsworth, CT, several times a year now to work with Keith to improve her skills.  As a result of this continued learning her work has won many best of shows throughout the country.  Her pieces are found in collections all over the world including Italy, the Canary Islands, and Puerto Rico as well as all over the US.  She exhibits her work at many fine art shows including Easton's Waterfowl Festival held every November in Easton, Maryland.  Sue's work is now shown at the CCA Gallery in Zionsville, IN.
